Applying OSINT to Real-World Decisions
Open-source information is more accessible than ever, but applying it well requires skill, structure, and judgment. The challenge is no longer finding information—it’s making sense of it, applying it with rigor and using it to support decisions in complex, high-stakes environments.
The OSINT Symposium Series exists to address that gap. By bringing together practitioners, decision-makers and innovators, it creates a space to share tradecraft, challenge assumptions and strengthen how OSINT is used in practice. The goal is simple: to build capability that endures—and to ensure open-source intelligence delivers meaningful impact.
FAQs

The OSINT Symposium Series is designed for analysts, investigators, decision-makers, and leaders working with open-source intelligence across mission sets. It is particularly valuable for those focused on applying OSINT to support real-world decisions.
Both events are part of the same OSINT Symposium Series and share a common focus on applied tradecraft and decision-making. They are delivered in different regions, bringing together local and global perspectives while maintaining a consistent practitioner-led approach.
The OSINT Symposium Series is designed for practitioners with an interest in how OSINT is applied in practice. While foundational concepts may be discussed, the focus is on real-world use, making it most valuable for those with some exposure to intelligence, investigations, or security.
Alongside the OSINT Symposium Series, we deliver a global Training Series—four live virtual sessions designed to extend learning into applied capability.
The series runs from July through early September, with each session delivered twice to support global participation. Sessions are delivered live by OSINT Combine trainers and recordings are provided to participants.
