Practical OSINT

5 Days, Instructor-Led

Build end-to-end OSINT capability. This five-day course develops the skills required to plan, execute, and deliver complete investigations, equipping teams to operate effectively in complex, multi-domain environments.

course Overview

Build End-to-End OSINT Capability

Practical OSINT is designed to develop a full-spectrum investigative capability using open-source intelligence. The course focuses on enabling teams to conduct end-to-end investigations across complex, multi-domain environments.

Building on foundational tradecraft, participants progress from applying basic OSINT tradecraft to advanced applications, with each module increasing in complexity and operational relevance. Develop the ability to plan, collect, analyze, and produce intelligence in realistic, operational scenarios.

Through a structured, tool-agnostic approach, participants build proficiency across key investigative areas. Starting with core methodology and operational security (OPSEC), the course progresses through social media exploitation, image and video analysis, corporate research, geolocation, dark web fundamentals, and AI integration.

Available via instructor-led delivery. A self-paced, on-demand alternative is available through the OSINT Combine Academy (The Practitioner Bundle).

Course FAQs

Practical OSINT is designed for analysts, investigators, and teams who need to conduct end-to-end investigations using open-source intelligence. It is particularly suited to those looking to move beyond foundational tradecraft and apply OSINT across real-world investigative and operational contexts.

Core OSINT focuses on building foundational tradecraft and introducing structured investigative workflows.

Practical OSINT goes deeper, while foundational tradecraft is covered, the course aims to develop the ability to conduct end-to-end investigations across complex, multi-domain environments. The focus shifts from applying individual techniques to planning, executing and delivering complete investigative outcomes.

Although no formal prerequisites are required, participants will benefit from a basic understanding of OSINT concepts. The course builds from core tradecraft through to applied investigative techniques, making it suitable for those progressing beyond foundational training or looking to strengthen their capability.

This course is delivered as instructor-led training, combining expert instruction with practical exercises and real-world scenarios. It can be delivered in person or virtually and tailored to your team’s operational context.

A self-paced, on-demand alternative is available through the OSINT Combine Academy via the Practitioner Bundle.
